This video describes how to perform the procedure of Malaria stain JSB I and II by Anamol Laboratories Private Limited, India • INTENDED USE: • Staining for Blood cells and Hemoparasites and Malaria Parasites. • PRINCIPLE: • Blood smears are prepared and fixed (using the Fixative). The cellular components when stained turn blue (basophilic) or orange granules (acidophilic). The color intensity can be varied by adjusting the staining time. • KIT COMPONENTS: • Reagent bottles. • Kit insert. • PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: • JSB I clear blue colored liquid without any particles. • JSB II clear amber liquid without any particles. • PACK SIZE: • 2 x 50 ml. • 4 x 50 ml. • 4 x 250 ml. • PROCEDURE: • 1. Spray Fixative on Slides. Drain excess. Dry in Air. • 2. Dip fixed slide in JSB STAIN II for 10-15 seconds. • 3. Wash slide with distilled water. • 4. Dip this slide in JSB STAIN I for 35-40 seconds. • 5. Wash slide with distilled water. • 6. Allow the smear to air dry. • 7.
