Do you know some of the signs of a potentially retained Palmar Grasp Reflex? • π Poor handwriting at age level • π Delayed fine motor skills • π Tactile hypersensitivity to hands and face • If your child has a retained Palmar Grasp Reflex, there are some fun and simple activities you can help them do! • π Any activity in weight bearing, with flat open palms, is great! Animal walks, ball walk outs, etc. • π Drawing on the palms - try letters, shapes, numbers. Have your child close their eyes and guess what you've drawn! • π Messy tactile play!
