She meets Johnny Castle, the resident bad boy dance instructor, who is more about hip thrusts than trust falls. • When Johnny's dance partner, Penny gets into a bit of a pickle (pregnant, knocked up, ), Baby steps in to learn the routine and save the day. So that Penny can get healthcare that has been denied to her by ridiculous rules. Cue the world's most intense dance montage where Baby's spaghetti arms slowly become linguini. Despite her dad's objections and a series of dramatic misunderstandings, Baby and Johnny's dance chemistry turns into real-life chemistry. They nail the performance and, in the process, break every rule in the Kellerman rule book. • The grand finale has Johnny dramatically declaring that Nobody puts Baby in a corner before they bust out a dance routine that involves the iconic lift, defying gravity and parental expectations.
