A Visit To Sardis Chapel Waunarlwydd Swansea South Wales

In this Video I make my first visit to Sardis Chapel in Waunarlwydd in Swansea, South Wales on Monday 10th December 2018 • I first knew about this chapel from a minister I know well Anthony Gwyther Jones who told me about Sardis, he gave me a contact number but googled and up came their website. • I received a lovely welcome to Sardis too • Ultimately they have no Organist but the organ was last played in October for its harvest service but not sure when it was last played but they want people to come along to give it a good work out like I did on Monday, the Organ is a 2 Manual Blacket And Howden Pipe Organ built I think about 1910. • It needs a bit of general maintenance and tuning I've suggested who can help, providing they can raise funds for this to happen, I've even suggested that I could do an Organ recital so time will tell. • My Grateful thanks to Cledwyn Ownens a chapel member for welcoming me to Sardis and even better helping me with the main videos whilst I bashed the keys at the console! • I will re-visit for sure after Christmas for sure. • For more info about Sardis please visit: • http://www.sardischapel.co.uk/ • Many thanks • Rob
