The BALTIMORE ORIOLE is a common eastern American oriole that spends the winter in northern South America. Adult males are bright orange with a black head and a bold white wing bar. Females vary from yellowish to bright orange on the underside, usually with black spots on the head. It breeds in deciduous trees in open woodland, forest edges, orchards, riverbanks, parks and backyards. It visits feeders with nectar and fruit. Females can be very difficult to distinguish from the oriole, and hybrids do occur. The Baltimore is generally brighter on the chest, not on the face. • BALTIMORE ORIOLE - Birds - Baltimore Oriole Song • Subscribe: •    / @bs_nature   • Share:    • BALTIMORE ORIOLE - Birds - Baltimore ...   • 00:00 - 00:18 | Intro • 00:19 - 01:47 | Description • 01:48 - 07:15 | Song, call, chirping... • 07:16 - 07:47 | Curiosities • 07:48 - 8:20 | Conclusion • Order: Passeriformes • Family: Icteridae • Genus: Icterus • Name: Baltimore Oriole, Abeille's Oriole, Golden oriole, and Northern oriole. • Scientifc Name: Icterus galbula • IUCN Red List: • LEAST CONCERN (LC) - A species is Least Concern when it has been evaluated against the criteria and does not qualify for Critically Endangered, Endangered, Vulnerable or Near Threatened.
