View this video to learn how it does it and also gives you details on how you can make it yourself. • What You Need to Make the Solar Powered Flashlight • 1 -- 5-1/2 inch length of a 1x3 board • 1 -- large Super-bright white LED • (Radio Shack Cat. No. 55050637) • 1 -- small 4.5V solar panel (Radio Shack Cat. No. 2770045 ) • 1 -- 1K resistor (Radio Shack Cat. No. 271-1321) • 1 -- 1N4003 rectifier (Radio Shack Cat. No. 276-1102) • 2 -- 1 farad, 2.5V memory back-up capacitors • (All Electronics Cat.
