This video shows how to make an amazing flashlight that is powered by light and has no battery and yet can be used on the darkest night. View this video to learn how it does it and also gives you details on how you can make it yourself. • What You Need to Make the Solar Powered Flashlight • 1 -- 5-1/2 inch length of a 1x3 board • 1 -- large Super-bright white LED • (Radio Shack Cat. No. 55050637) • 1 -- small 4.5V solar panel (Radio Shack Cat. No. 2770045 ) • 1 -- 1K resistor (Radio Shack Cat. No. 271-1321) • 1 -- 1N4003 rectifier (Radio Shack Cat. No. 276-1102) • 2 -- 1 farad, 2.5V memory back-up capacitors • (All Electronics Cat.
