I this video I explain how I make boilies that can be stored in bags without freezing. We use a Damp Meter to check the amount of liquid in our finished boilies. • We have some comments saying that my maths are wrong which I disagree with. • I went straight on to British Aqua Feeds website and found they recommend 10-15ml per egg, well I used 2 eggs and extra liquids then used 31ml of preserve. Not sure how I am wrong but see the link to their website and read their recommendations of use for yourself. • https://britishaquafeeds.com/product/... • After that I then went on CC Moore and found they are recommending 20-30% (I used 20%) of the liquid inclusion. they then give this example. E.g. If a mix requires 9 eggs, we recommend that 6-7 eggs are used and the other 2-3 eggs are replaced with liquid preservative. On this basis, as a guideline, we work on the basis that each medium egg usually provides 50ml of liquid; therefore a 9-egg mix would require 100-150ml of preservative. A bit confusing as I use large eggs which are 55-57ml but here is the link to check out yourselves. • https://www.ccmoore.com/liquid-bait-p... • And just for good measure see what AA Baits are recommending for their preserve. • https://aabaits.co.uk/product/bait-pr... • I think bait making is a Science but far from an exact science and everyone will have their own methods, techniques and opinions but I'm sure most of it will not be able to be backed up with scientific facts. You go to your favourite swim put your bait in and catch a few next day you return and catch nothing but that's fishing especially Carp Fishing. • I'm just passing on my knowledge that I've picked up over many years of bait making and don't want to argue with people, if you think I'm doing it wrong please feel free to make your own video I will look forward to watching it. • Tight Lines • Martin
