monday: i did my noi reflections finally, it was great to do that and just think through and process the whole festival, good and bad altogether. then went on a grocery run before going on a run run with brendan! we were pretty gross and sweaty oop but then josh hosted a nice backyard pool party! we made a fun lil whirlpool :) • tuesday: worked on my repertoire spreadsheet so i can keep a record of what i’ve played and stuff! then went to school to get back into my practicing and reed making oofies, went on another 2 mile run with brendan and then he made dinner for us before we got rained on while walking to the train for small group! tim made a nice little potion concoction for his sweet treat lol! rolled out my calf (moo! iykyk) cuz it was feeling pretty tight • wednesday: started the day with a practice sesh and i hate hate hate hate hate profiling, was gonna go to mr. beef for boy dinner but none of us checked the hours so they close at 4 and us being there at 5 was not gonna happen, so audible to portillos! then i pre-gouged and gouged, gross and recorded a cover woopwoop • thursday: im back in my emo era, back to practicing and shaping and profiling, went shopping at uniqlo and got some fun items, and broken english taco pub for taco thursday with michelle! very nice to catch up and say hello:) • friday: morning run by the lake, sorry for all the shakyshaky and bad cinematography 🤣 but get ready with me! to go practice lolll and then go on a walk and talk with miles! and more shaping and profilinggg, got an apple watch thanks mom and amazon heh, and then spent some time just thinking and feeling • saturday: another morning run by the lake :D this one felt really good :) then spent the morning doing some thinking and reflecting and then i got really emo in the afternoon before deciding to put some new clothes on and go film a cover and hangout with my dear friend josh spilly:) ate dinner and visited the corner store and played 7wonders duel (i won 😈) • sunday: park-wide summer celebration at montrose beach with 72 (!!!) baptisms, one of which is my dear friend caeleb’s :) and i was really tired so i took some naps hehe :) then got to see henry !! we went to chinatown, walked around, got dinner, went to the supermarket, got dessert, then said bye! • monday: morning pre-brekkie run with brendan, 3.2 miles! longest run yet nice, brekkie with small small group at meli cafe with the HUGE portions wow i was so full lol but it was a good omelet and good company! met up with josh at pedestrian coffee and chatted and played some sabobatage :) a great time, cleaned and did laundry in preparation to go home tomorrow :’) then got to see henry AGAIN !! what a blessing, showed him around depaul and we got dinner! then i had to start packing rip • much love, • jh • music used in this video- • emily’s song - bird club • we can’t be friends - dream koala • the simple things - aekasora • song on the beach - arcade fire (from Her OST) • the girl i haven’t met - kudasaibeats • summertime vibes - aekasora • countryside slumber - blue sirens (https://thmatc.co/?l=78283611) • butterflies - peter fenn • daydream - ystr (https://thmatc.co/?l=0402DBDE) • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ • hello! my name is jason huang and i am a masters student at depaul university studying bassoon performance. i make these videos to document my life! feel free to follow along if you’d like!
