So far, just used it to catch rat traffic at night in my garden and it fulfilled that purpose very well . Only takes 4 batteries .The one I had before was twice the size ,took 8 batteries, no viewing screen, and it was a guessing game to set it up properly.... The small viewing screen makes the setup really easy and allow for viewing/ deleting without hooking it up to a computer .
