Bruin/wit • Moeder Fleur: 50 % Friese Stabij/ 50% Wetterhoun. zwart/wit. • Over de Friese Stabij: • De stabij of stabyhoun is een staande, opjagende en apporterende vogelhond, mollenvanger en waakhond. • De stabij komt, evenals de wetterhoun, uit Friesland, uit het Friese Woudengebied. • Het is een van de 11 Nederlandse rassen. Vermoed wordt dat hij afstamt van de • ooit door de Spanjaarden mee naar Nederland genomen spaniëls en daarna verder is ontwikkeld in Nederland. • Verwant aan de Friese Stabij zijn de Drentsche patrijshond en de Kleine Münsterländer, • die vermoedelijk ooit van dezelfde spaniëls afstamden, maar die net in een wat ander gebied en voor andere • doeleinden gefokt zijn. • Vandaag de dag bestaan er ongeveer 3.500 originele stabijs met stamboom en er worden er ieder jaar zo'n 350 geboren. • Leer meer over de Friese Stabij hier: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stabij • Over de Wetterhoun: • • De wetterhoun, spreek uit als 'wetterhoen', andere naam: Friese krulhaar of otterhoun, werd veel gebruikt bij de jacht op waterwild. • Hij komt net als de stabij en de Friese windhond - die uitgestorven is rond 1940 - uit Friesland. • Daar komt hij al eeuwenlang voor. De hond kwam vroeger vooral voor in het Friese merengebied. • De wetterhoun was de hond van boeren en arbeiders, die met hem gingen jagen, otter- en bunzingjacht, • maar hem ook gebruikten als waak- en erfhond.
