This is a very simple example of how to test RCD trip times with a Seaward Primetest 200. Yes, it is a relative easy process however, a fully qualified electrician is the only person who can officially interprete the test results and act accordingly to resolve any problems with that RCD or ELCB. • Each RCD (or ELCB) must be checked at a specified time frame (6 monthly, yearly or bi yearly) depending on the circuit it is protecting or the environment in which it is located.
