We tried night vision goggles in the past, but they were military-grade and absolutely incredible when looking at the night sky. They were very expensive though (around $2-3K) and we're just glad we were able to try them thanks to a friend :D We really wanted to know if more affordable ones (in the $200 range) could be great as well.
