Todd's laundry list of accomplishments runs the gamit from national champion to world champion in various multisport disciplines, but he didn't always compete in triathlon. • Todd and I discuss his growing up as a baseball player and how he came to be a triathlete. • Further into our conversation we talk a little about Todd's research for his dissertation he conducted with athletes at the USAT age group national championship. • His results are a little surprising and buck some conventional wisdom about what we should focus on as athletes to maximize our speed.
