After this I used a circular saw along the middle of the deck to cut the boards in half (12' to 6' in order to fit them into the truck and make demolition easier). Then we used a Sawzall to cut any remaining parts. • We took time when loading the truck to make sure it would all fit in order to do it in one trip and save money on the dumping costs. The Ledger (Where the deck attaches to your home) is the only board that requires a bit of patience in order not to damage the home, siding, and foundation.
