She was a close friend and companion of Tyler Lockwood but she later betrayed him. When the Guerrera family ( a family of drug traffickers) arrive in New Orleans, they are actually werewolves. • Their leader, Francesca plotted with the witches to kill Hayley's child as well as make moonlight rings for the werewolves so that Klaus can be weakened. • When she gives birth, the witches kidnap her. • She gets her throat slit by New Orleans Witch Monique Deveraux after giving birth to her daughter but comes back as a Hybrid in the Season 1 finale From a Cradle to a Grave. She and Klaus choose to send Hope away for her own safety, giving her to Rebekah Mikaelson. • In the second season, Hayley has a bloodlust and wants revenge on those who made her give her baby up. Her, along with Klaus and Elijah, Cami and Marcel teamed up to take down the Guerrera family so that Klaus can get his strength and they actually succeeded.
