Two 450 tilter bunchers and a 430 flat bottomed feller buncher. • Okay, what we like about the Komatsu products, starting with the feller bunchers is; The 450s • the tilt as we use in the steep ground. They work really well. They're very well-balanced feller • bunchers. They work really well in tight areas in northern British Columbia. • The heads that are on the Komatsu bunchers we run our quad co-heads they work very well as well with that feller buncher. • I'm a 2nd generation logger. I think logging has changed a lot since I started even in the bush, which would be 20 years ago. Back 20 years ago when I started the bush we did a lot of more • handwork. Had falling hand processing or bucking. A lot more line skidders. • Today everything is a lot more production orientated. Everything is more mechanical obviously with the feller bunchers the big wrathful skidders the processors now instead of the hand buckers. We don't have anybody out in the bush working with hand tools or manual labor anymore so everything is operated by machines. • The days are we work longer days longer seasons more hours we work 24 hours a day most in the • wintertime, for sure seven days a week. A lot more production though. We used to log 100,000 cubic meters a year now we log 600,000 cubic meters a year. So things have changed a lot. • SMS is the distributor for Komatsu equipment which we use here in the northern part of British Columbia. They've been very good for us, they mean they've helped us they helped us through everything. • They have a dealership right in our hometown we have a small small town in Chetwynd. So it works out really well for us. We don't have, there's no other dealers with branches in our area or in • our community so works out really well for us. • They have all the parts and service people to help us when we have troubles and things like that, so it's been a really that part has been really helpful for us in the last year. • ================= • End of customer testimonial
