TRANSCRIPTION: • 2016 marked the first year big game hunters were allowed to wear fluorescent pink as an alternative color to blaze orange. • Hunters wearing fluorescent pink or blaze orange are required to have a minimum of five hundred square inches of solid color worn as an outer garment above the waist. • A solid fluorescent pink or blaze orange hat or head covering visible from all directions must be worn, and is included in the 500 square inches. • Sweatshirt and jacket hoods do not qualify as a head covering. Camouflage pink or or orange is not legal. • Fluorescent pink and blaze orange garments may be worn together, such as a pink jacket and an orange pack covering.
