A personal recording of Johann Sebastian Bach's Fughetta in 2 voices in c minor (BWV 961). • The tempo is Q=144, as given by Carl Czerny. The metronome is read in whole beat (#WBMP), that is, a complete oscillation of the pendulum equates to one quarter note in duration. This results in a playing speed that is slower, sometimes significantly, than is used in current performance practice. • This particular piece has been recorded three times using three different soundbanks: • 1. Grand Piano1 ([Piano]-1) soundbank, A=440Hz with equal temperament, • 2. Harpsichord1 ([Harpsi]-1) soundbank, A=432Hz with Werckmeister III (Eb) temperament, • 3. Nason Flt 8' ([Organ]-1) soundbank, A=465Hz with Werckmeister III (Eb) temperament. • Please let me know in the comments which is your favourite... or which you liked the least. • Timestamps: • 0:00 Title Card • 0:08 Piano version • 2:32 Harpsichord version • 4:58 Organ version • Performer: Johan Van Kerckhoven • Piano: Roland Digital Piano HP-337e • Recording equipment: Sony Handycam HDR-CX625 for video, laptop for audio • Editing software: OpenShot Video Editor
