Moving Hens For Our 2021 Chicken Breeding Program

It’s that time of year again to get our girls ready to produce for our breeding program. They need to be put in their appropriate areas for us to get the best breeds for resale. Our Cream Legbars are very popular and we have a waiting list of orders. The Black Copper Marans are a close second and the Easter Eggers are always a favorite. We are also trying a new breed this year. They are cross back Olive Eggers to a Black Copper Maran. We are also doing a cross with our Wellsummer hens to a Cream Legbar rooster making it a Welbar. These are a sexed breed.
