Zebb Quinn - SOLVED: In 2017, a Buncombe County grand jury charged Robert Jason Owens with first-degree murder for the death of Quinn. On July 25, 2022, Owens pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of accessory after-the-fact to first-degree murder. • • 9. Korrina Malinoski Annette Sagers - On the morning of Oct. 4, 1988, 11-year-old Annette was last seen standing at a bus stop near her home in Mount Holly, SC. Despite Annette reportedly leaving behind a note explaining her absence, she has not been seen or heard from in over 30 years. Neither has her mother, Korrina, who disappeared approximately eleven months before Annette. Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office: 803-761-7190 • • 8. Jared Negrete - On June 11, 1991, Jared, a 12-year-old boy went missing while on a camping trip with his Boy Scout troop in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California. Jared was last seen around 8:30 p.m. when he left his tent to use the restroom. When he didn't return, a search party was organized, but Jared was never found. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department: 909-387-3690 • 7. Asha Degree - On Feb. 14, 2000, nine-year-old Asha went missing from her home in Shelby, North Carolina. She was last seen by her parents in the early morning hours of Valentine's Day, sleeping in her bed. In 2015, the FBI announced that they had new leads in the case, but no further information has been released. FBI Charlotte: 701-672-6100 • 6. Michael Negrete - On Dec. 10, 1999, Michael, a 19-year-old freshman at UCLA, went missing. He was last seen at his dormitory, Hitch Suites, on the UCLA campus. In 2013, Alex's brother Steve stated that prior to his disappearance, Michael had recently taken drugs including ecstasy, and had attended raves. In his opinion, Michael had, while under the influence of drugs, left the building and subsequently been abducted. The second episode of CSI Season 2, episode Chaos Theory seems to be based on Negrete's case. UCLA Police Department: 310-825-1491 • 5. Lisa Irwin - On the night of October 3-4, 2011, Lisa, a 10-month-old infant, went missing from her home in Kansas City, Missouri. Lisa's father reported her missing at around 4:00 am on October 4, after returning home from work and discovering that she was not in her crib.
