This video is a compilation of my favorite cues from James Horner's latest work on The Karate Kid . • • There seems to be two main themes in the score. One I will describe as the romantic / emotional theme , and the other as the powerful theme . The latter theme reminds me of the verse portion of Avatar's main theme, and while good, is not as interesting to me as a Horner fan. I prefer the romantic theme and it's showcased heavily throughout the video.
