Every year the city of Vannes holds its Fetes Historiques, a Medieval Festival which is a fantastic day out, the city is crowded with people and I would estimate over 1000 people took part in the parade dressed in medieval costume ranging from knights in amour, the nobles, the peasants, the entertainers and the jesters.
