Build your own perfect circuit training workout Herbalife Workout

Circuit training is one of my favorite styles of exercise, I love it because with a circuit it's almost impossible to get bored, because just as you are getting tired with an exercise it's time to move on to a different move. • I'm Samantha Clayton, fitness expert and former competitive sprinter. I'm working with Herbalife to help you achieve a healthy, active life. • Another reason circuit training is so great is because the possibilities on how you choose to exercise are endless! You can workout all areas in one circuit or plan a circuit for a specific area of the body. Finally, when you have a large group of friends exercising with you but there's limited equipment, it's easy to ensure everyone in your group gets a great workout. • Here are a few tips to help you put together a winning circuit of your own. • For total body. • If you want your circuit to benefit your entire body pick out exercises for major muscle groups and separate them wisely. Never put two lower body moves next to each other, instead break it up by doing lower body then upper body, then core move before going back to a lower body exercise. • With cardio. • Mix up your cardio moves by never doing high-impact moves back to back; mix in lots of low impact moves to give your joints a rest. • • If you are working out with a group, keep it fun by ensuring you base your rest times on the weaker exercisers in your group. It can be discouraging for newer exercisers if they are getting left behind and a group workout means doing it together. If you feel that you need more of a challenge out of the session stay for a few minutes after and do one more round - pushing yourself alone. • Keep it simple and don't overdo it with the number of exercises instead repeat the circuit two or three times through eight key exercises is a perfect starting point. • Finally, have fun and if you need some examples of exercises to create your own perfect circuit, check out my previous Fit Tip videos for inspiration.
