Hello Dear learner • Here, in this video we learn about basics of Illumina DNA sequencing, there are four steps we discussed. • 1.Library preparation • 2.Cluster generation • 3.Sequencing by synthesis • 4.Alignment Data analysis • Illumina sequencing relies on a technique called Sequencing by Synthesis. In this step, fluorescently labeled nucleotides (A, T, C, G) are added to the clusters one at a time. When a complementary base pairs with the template DNA strand, it emits a fluorescent signal that is detected by a camera.
