Monster Carnival party quest in Europe MapleStory • • Recorded at: 2009-05-23 • • Info about this Party Quest: • Required level to get in: 30 ~ 50 • Rules are simple - your team have to obtain more Carnival Points (CP) than opposing party... • How to obtain CPs? Kill monsters. Note that killing stronger monsters gives you more CPs. • You can't use ANY potions from your inventory. You can only pick-up potions from the floor which will be instantly used after that. • You can make the opposing party some problems. How? Look at the left-top corner. You can use obtained CPs to do something: • -- [MOB menu] spawn more monsters (for opponents) - I don't recommend that for strong opponents because they will be able to obtain CPs faster than before by killing additional monsters. • -- [SKILL menu] give a `curse` for a opponent(s) like Darkness (accuracy decrease), Weak (unable to jump), Stun etc. • -- [PROTECTOR menu] spawn a 'crystal totem' how I do call it. These will increase your team's monsters power (these which opponents have to kill). Examples: Power up (ph-dmg is bigger), Speed Up (mobs walks faster), Shield Up (mobs have higher magic defense). • • If You want to win the match - important is team work and using correct things from that menu. For example: if in opposing team are warriors only - do not waste CPs on ShieldUp (m-def up), Magic Atk Cancel and this kind things but focus on their weakness - in our example try to decrease their accuracy by using Avoidability Up and Darkness curse. • • You can find some more basic information here: http://forum.nexoneu.com/NXEU.aspx?g=...
