The Pitcairn Islands is a group of 4 tiny islands scattered across several hundred kms of ocean, in the South Pacific. Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oeno are officially British Overseas Territories, and they're quite famous. Not for their strategic location, nor for the resources. With a population of 47, how important could they be? Well it's precisely the population that makes the Pitcairn islands so famous. They are the descendants of British mutineers and Tahitian consorts, who found refuge here in the late 1700s.
