Juilliard's Pre-College division celebrates 100 years of musical excellence, a legacy that continues to shape the next generation of artists and citizens. Explore Pre-College: https://goo.gl/dyVUM8. • In this video, Damian Woetzel, Veda Kaplinsky, Vijay Gupta, Marin Alsop, Stephen Schwartz, Nathalie Joachim, Emanuel Ax and more faculty, students, and alumni reflect on the division's legacy and look ahead to its future. • The Pre-College Division offers a comprehensive conservatory-style music program for students 8–18 years old who exhibit the talent, potential and ambition to pursue serious music study at the college level. Students work with world-class faculty—many of whom are on the Juilliard college faculty—to develop technical proficiency while fostering creativity and intellectual curiosity. • Pre-College education takes place on Saturdays from September through May and offers a complete curriculum of music instruction that requires a considerable amount of time and commitment on the part of the students.
