A cornea transplant is a surgical procedure to replace damaged cornea with healthy donor tissue. It may take a year or longer to fully recover and get back normal vision. • Eye may be covered with an eye pad or plastic shield, which will be removed in follow-up visit. • The eye patch must be worn when you shower and sleep.
