How To Grip a Putter - A short easy to understand video on the putting grip. • Transcript • Okay, let's take a look at the putting grip first of all. What I like to see is a grip where the putter is placed in the palm of the left hand, and the palm of the right hand. Both palms will be opposing each other, and in line with the putter face. So, when I take my grip I keep the putter shaft running through the palm with the thumb of my left hand down the front of the club. Again, my right hand. I take the grip with the thumb of my right hand down the front of the grip. • How I join my hands is a personal preference. I join it with an overlap of the index finger. You might see some people just overlap slightly. You might see some people holding reverse handed, or even right hand down the putter shaft. But what all these grips have in common is they're held in the palm. So, I'm not really too worried how you join your hands together as long as you're holding it in your palms. Palms are opposing each other, and they're in line with the putter face. • • http://www.swingstation.com http://www.rnygi.com • Rising Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) • Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 • http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b...
