Join me on Patreon! / tinypineoutdoors • Day 7 of solo hiking the Coast to Coast, I wandered around the enchanting Aragon Campsite in Burnbanks and made my way to Shap (this would only be a short, 5 mile 'rest' day). • Along, the way, I stopped at Shap Abbey for a little while and indulged in the history of the 900+ year old structure. • I met my mum in Shap where she drove us to Ravenstonedale where I'd booked us a meal twin room at a country inn! On the grounds of the country inn is a nature reserve which we explored met an array of animals, namely a couple of horses, one of which spooked my mum, which I found hilarious. • The food was great, as was the room and everything. And seeing my mum after being away for a week at that point was great, and helped with my anxiety homesickness.
