Mr. Peabody and Sherman movie review -- with Britton • We took the kids to see the new computer animated movie Mr. Peabody and Sherman this weekend. Mr. Peabody and Sherman features the voices of Ty Burrell, Max Charles, Ariel Winter, Stephen Colbert, and Leslie Mann and was released on March 7, 2014. The movie is based on the characters from the Peabody's Improbable History segments of the 1960s animated television series The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. • Plot synopsis from IMDB: • Mr. Peabody, the most accomplished dog in the world, and his mischievous boy Sherman, use their time machine - The WABAC - to go on the most outrageous adventures known to man or dog. But when Sherman takes The WABAC out for a joyride to impress his friend Penny, they accidentally rip a hole in the universe, wreaking havoc on the most important events in world history. Before they forever alter the past, present and future, Mr. Peabody must come to their rescue, ultimately facing the most daunting challenge of any era: figuring out how to be a parent. Together, the time traveling trio will make their mark on history. • Hello everybody, I'm Britton and we're gonna do a review on Mr. Peabody and Sherman. • The story starts out with Mr. Peabody doing his yoga and he tells you a little bit about himself. He then introduces Sherman and they go on a little journey on the WABAC. The WABAC is a time machine that they use. • After they go through the WABAC, you get to see how extremely skillful and smart Mr. Peabody is, and then Sherman goes for his first day of school. • In the cafeteria, Sherman gets an enemy...The enemy is Penny Peterson, who accuses him of being a dog because his father is Mr. Peabody....a dog. • Then Mr. Peabody gets called to the principal's office, and, thinking that Sherman doesn't have enough work, he starts showing all kinds of more work that he can do. • But then he meets Mrs. Grunion who is trying to get Sherman away from Mr. Peabody. • So, Mr. Peabody invites the Petersons over so that they can get to know each other and Sherman can stay with him. Sherman and Penny use the WABAC and get everything mixed up and they go on a huge adventure to save the world from the past attacking the present. • When they first went on the WABAC, you don't see Penny and Sherman using the WABAC--you just see them going in. But, Sherman tells Mr. Peabody that Penny is in ancient Egypt and he's like, You used the WABAC!?!?!?! • So then they have to go and save Penny from ancient Egypt--she has become King Tut's bride! • A big theme in the movie is how you need to be obedient or it will all lead to trouble. • Here are a few funny moments...You won't believe that the Trojans, while they were IN THE TROJAN HORSE, fell for the Trojan horse trick! They also fooled the Egyptians into calling off the wedding with the giant Anubis statue. • They also visited Leonardo da Vinci in the middle of him trying to make Mona Lisa, smile. He was having trouble making Mona Lisa smile, so they made her smile... • I liked this movie and I recommend you go see it, and I think I would give it four out of five stars. • Don't forget to like us, subscribe and leave comments.
