At no time was this three week old doeling left unattended. She was able to push open the gate ONLY because I had slipped in to give them their hay. The gate was only unlatched for a moment to let me pass holding the hay. • The two very gentle goats inside the pen were, her father, buck Kestrel, and Quabity, recently wethered (or castrated) who was just in the pen keeping Kestrel company. No harm came to her, and she left immediately with me after I securely closed up the pen again. • I have never had an accident on my farm and take animal safety very seriously.
