Today we're going to check out this quick connector from Volterra. Not only does it help you detach or attach your hose really quickly, it also acts as a host saber here. That way it doesn't put any extra stress on your hose. Let's take a closer look at it.Looking at the design, you just pull back on the orange sleeve and it disconnects like that. We're going to get it installed on our city water connection here. • • So the hose saber part is installed. Then we're just going to thread this in on our hose. I'll show you how much quicker it is. It snaps right into place. There's no more turning and screwing it on there because easily push it on to release it. • • Pull down on the sleeve, and it comes off that easy. How do you like that not only is it quick connect and disconnect, but the host saber there. You don't have the hose plugged directly in there, so it's not hanging straight down. It was plugged directly into our rig today. It would come down like that, and then that would pinch the hose, making sure water didn't get in there or just causing problems for the hose overall. When you're ready to go, the hose just disconnect. • • You can leave this end on your hose when you roll up and throw it back in your rig. But I would go ahead and take this part out or unscrew it and throw that in there separately. That way you can put the cover back on, and it's nice and protected. That does it for our look at the quick connector. I hope this helped..
