The Dabs were an Auckland, New Zealand power pop trio comprising Rowan Shedden, Steve Thorpe and Geoff Hayden. They were fairly short-lived but gained a reputation as a hard working band, and lasted long enough to record the Love The Army EP for the Propeller label in 1982. • They had previously recorded this song an an earlier compilation called The Furtive Four 3 Piece Pack , but this is the second 'Love The Army' version.
