CN and Amtrak Trains in Southwestern Michigan 0605 060624

For the second year in a row, we went to Michigan on a family trip. I got to spend just a little time seeing a few trains. We went down to Schoolcraft, MI and got 2 CN trains on the ex-GTW main between Chicago and Detroit (and Canada), highlighted by CN 8825 with a beautiful P5 leading an eastbound mostly rack train with a single 5 car intermodal well set. We were staying really close to the Amtrak Michigan Line, so we ended up getting to see Amtrak 352 at almost 110 mph! We had a great time, and I hope to go back next year!
