Head to Melchior in Medina Village and he'll now be able to make the Masamune for Frog. • Head to Truce Canyon and you'll give give Frog the Masamune and learn of Frog's backstory. He was cursed to be a Frog by Magus after his master Cyrus was defeated and his real name is Glenn. • Head to the Magic Cave in the E on the overworld and you'll see how Cyrus and Glenn first me. Frog then equips the Masamune and uses it to cleave through the mountain. • Inside, follow the linear path for a few battles and you'll emerge near Magus's Lair. • Investigate both the W and E path (nabbing treasures along the way) and back at the start Ozzie will appear and summon his minions. You'll have to defeat them all down either flank to advance. Make sure to interact with the NPCs. At the end of the W path you'll fight Slash. Marle should be your primary healer here. Frog may be neeeded for additional healing in the second phase, but this should be an easy enough fight with these two healers. • Take the E path and you can gain access to that chest by defeating the Shadows. Flea is the boss at the end, but is much easier than Slash as it only has one form. It can inflict Status, but doesn't seem to damage as much as Slash. Make sure to nab the hidden Magic Tab. • Now take the central path and follow Ozzie. You'll come to a room with traps, and need to time your run to not take too much damage from the obstacles (not a game over, thankfully) and then you'll ascend some stairs fighting battles along the way. • In the next room their are pit falls. Make sure to fall down one for the treasures. At the end of this you'll come to another stair case to climb with annoying Roly Bomber enemies that blow up on death. • The next room has enemies appearing via the winches at the side and Ozzie will flee AGAIN. After another room, you'll finally have him cornered. • Attack the four winches and he'll fall down a bit ending the boss battle quickly. Take the left sparkly spot for a route to take and you'll encounter Magus. • Magus actually attacks with a spell that indicates his weakness, and shifts between it after being hit, so a counterattcking strategy works better. • Magus mentions Lavos and we're sucked into a warp. • Crono is dreaming of being married to Marle and we wake up in Ayla's hut. • Head back to the End of Time to heal up, and teach Frog magic. • 0:00 - The End of Time • 0:20 - Medina Village (1,000AD) • 3:40 - Truce Canyon (600AD) • 14:30 - Magic Cave • 19:20 - Magus's Lair • 27:00 - Slash Boss • 41:20 - Flea Boss • 1:18:35 - Ozzie Boss • 1:23:30 - Magus Boss • 1:35:20 - Ayla's House (65,000,000BC)
