I was having the following trouble code with my 2008 Mini Cooper S Clubman: A0B6 – Selector lever interlock signal, above threshold. • Also, the yellow gear and exclamation point would show on the display. Also, it sometimes the key would not release from the ignition. There are posts on this topic, but none identical to the situation I’m talking about. • I noticed I could move the selector out of park without the key in the ignition or my foot on the brake (i.e. the shift lock solenoid/mechanism was not working).
