Camp. Thompson. Park. Whatever the fire name, our #CCCChico and #CCCRedding Corpsmembers know the devastation from wildfire all too well. They’ve experienced it in their private lives and while serving in the CCC. In the CCC, they’re able to actively make a difference in their own backyard. Socks and wattles may sound like a great band name, but they’re critical tools to protect the creeks, streams, and local environment from harmful toxins when winter rains arrive. Despite needing to work in the hazards themselves, the crews take pride in helping their community. #CaliforniaConservationCorps #CCCemergency
