So mexican coke started being exported to the united states and sold in bodegas and other mexican shops. • Natural United States citizens caught wind of this different type of coke in the country in the classic glass bottles and started enjoying it too. • By 2009, mexican coke became more wide spread in the united states and sold in many other non mexican stores like costco, kroger and sams club. • By 2017 domestic mexican coke made the switch from a ratio of cane sugar and corn syrup to being sweetened with an almost absolute percentage of corn syrup • This change though did not effect the mexican coke that is being imported into the united states. • So whew!
