Trip to the autonomous region of Tajikistan, Gorno-Badakhshan. I traveled along the Tajik-Afghan border into the High Pamirs. We followed the Pamir Highway for long distances, making stops at historic sites and small villages. • I volunteered to make the video for Pamir Adventure, a Tajik tour company run by Surat Toimastov. Surat was a biologist in the Soviet Union and did all of his field-work in the Pamirs.
