Detailed instructions on how to bleed SHIMANO ROAD hydraulic brakes with our NEW bleed kit 28046 Premium Road GOLD edition. ...(CLICK ON show more to reveal step by step written instructions!) • STEP BY STEP: • 00:00 Intro • 1. 00:07 Remove the wheel. • 2. 00:19 Remove the brake pads. • 3. 00:38 Remove the rubber protector cover. • 4. 00:45 Remove the lever bleed port screw. • 5. 00:55 Attach the brass adapter to the lever end. • 6. 01:04 Attach 30 ml lever end funnel and unscrew the plug. • 7. 01:16 Recommended: Clean the caliper with brake cleaner. • 8. 01:26 Spread the pistons with a PLASTIC tyre lever. Do not use metal tyre levers! • 9. 01:35 Insert the bleed block and secure it. • 10. 01:44 Remove the rubber cover of the bleed nipple. • 11. 01:48 Fill the caliper end syringe with 15-20 ml of GOLD brake oil. • 12. 01:58 Carefully push out the air bubbles. • 13. 02:06 Attach the full caliper end syringe to the bleed nipple. • 14. 02:10 Open the bleed port with 7 mm wrench. • 15. 02:14 Secure the caliper end syringe with the velcro strap. • 16. 02:25 Inject Gold hydraulic oil until the caliper end syringe is almost empty. • 17. 02:39 Close the caliper bleed port with 7 mm wrench. • 18. 02:43 Remove the velcro strap and the caliper syringe. • 19. 02:50 Disconnect the caliper end syringe from the bleed nipple. • 20. 02:53 Clean the excessive oil. • 21. 02:55 Attach the rubber cover to the bleed nipple. • 22. 03:01 Press lever 6 times to release any trapped air bubbles. • 23. 03:09 Close the lever end funnel with the plug (approx. 5 full rotations). • 24. 03:15 Remove the lever end funnel. Catch excessive oil with a cloth. • 25. 03:22 Dispose used oil into a bottle. • 26. 03:34 Reinstall lever bleed port screw. • 27. 03:39 Clean excessive oil.
