With the demolition of Crow's Nest, the Master Chief mounts a Warthog and heads for Voi in the third campaign mission for Halo 3. • Previously completing the evacuation of troops from Crow's Nest, the Master Chief returns to the command center to finish the job. Upon denying the Covenant access to UNSC intel stored within, the Chief rearms the bomb and requires an alternate escape route: the service elevator located in the hangar. On his path to the hangar, John smashes through Grunts, Jackals, and Drones fleeing the premises in the face of doom. Ultimately, he reaches the elevator moments before detonation. Though successful with his escape, the blast severs the cable, and the lift goes into freefall with the Spartan still onboard. • Now, regaining his composure, John-117 discovers wounded soldiers receiving treatment and others accounting for evacuated or missing squads. Needing to put distance from the base should the Brutes return, the Spartan mounts one of two remaining Warthogs, leading the few Marines still combat-effective away from Crow's Nest. While encountering pockets of enemy resistance beyond the base, including various Wraith tanks, Choppers, and Shade turrets, the Spartan rallies additional Marines scattered along Tsavo Highway, proceeding to break the Covenant defense leading towards Voi. • Welcome to part three in my Halo 3 Legendary Guide!
