Back in 2018, we watched a master glass blower at work on the isle of Murano, near the historic city of Venice, Italy. He made a beautiful glass ornament of a prancing horse, like the Ferrari logo. • It's really difficult to do this; when the glass is glowing hot, it is very soft and sags very easily, so the ornament loses shape quickly, and you need to keep trying to correct it. But as the glass cools, it becomes harder for you to shape it.
