There are three ninjutsu school in the nine schools of the bujinkan, and then the other six schools are primarily martial arts schools, primarily samurai schools, however there are elements even within those of ninjutsu, so the line between ninjutsu and samurai schools is not totally black and white. And bujinkan martial arts is really based upon those nine schools, and everything that falls under them. And we practice taijutsu, or martial arts movements, from primarily six of the schools. And one of the schools is togakure-ryu, ninpo taijutsu, which is primarily a ninjutsu based ryuha or school. And so that it is primarily where bujinkan ninjutsu comes from.
