MXiii 4k Android box wifi stopped working micro SD card fix

This is a firmware fix that worked for me when this android box stopped connecting to WiFi. I tried various firmwares and eventually this one from Tronsmart worked. I can't guarantee it will work for everyone but it worked for me. • Firstly I wiped the box by turning it on with a USB keyboard attached to it, and a pin inserted into the AV slot at the back until you feel a little button click in. You should see a menu with various options, just choose the Wipe User Data using the keyboard. • Next, using a PC, download the firmware file from here http://chinagadgetsreviews.blogspot.i... and extract the contents using winrar or similar program. You will then find a folder containing 3 files. Copy these 3 files onto an empty micro SD card of at least 2GB and then insert the sd card into the side of the Android box. • Now, with the box turned off, insert a pin into the AV slot at the back of the box until you feel it click (this might take a bit of poking about). Once it clicks hold the pin there and turn the box on. KEEP HOLDING THE PIN IN PLACE AFTER TURNING BOX ON. • Keep the pin in place after turning the box on until after the Tronsmart logo disappears. In my older box it used to say Google TV and then MBOX. After this firmware installed it changed to saying Tronsmart and then MBOX. But it connected to WiFi and all the apps work again as before. • I hope this video helps some people as it took me a while to find this fix so thought I would share it because I was almost ready to throw in the towel and buy a new box.
