On November 8th 2013, the small island of Malapascua was directly hit by SuperTyphoon Yolanda (Haiyan). In a few hours the island was decimated but thankfully there were no fatalities. For those of us who have spent time with these great people, the impact on this beautiful place is immensely shocking.
