Trestles Surf Beach Plants Animals and Sailing

This week, we sail with our trusty first mate, Jack dog, to anchor at the famous surfing destination of Trestles at San Onofre State Beach. After playing with a dolphin pod, explore the diverse habitats along this coastal environment and look for important native pollinator plants at the sand dunes among the surf. Afterward, we head to the freshwater lagoon at the San Mateo Creek to look for some unique birds and plants in these wetlands.
