First on the list is the VERY FIRST start of the engine we recently rebuilt for a kawasaki zx14r. You're hearing it run for the first time just like we are. It's pretty cool to be able to share these moments with you. A lot of work goes into rebuilding a motorcycle engine. Maybe we'll do an engine rebuilding video in the future? Let us know what you think! I also chat with you guys a bit about the importance of an oil change after the break in period. How many miles for a motorcycle break in period? At 500 miles, it's VERY recommended to do a oil change and check everything over. Motorcycle manufacturers will recommend this as well as engine builders because as the engine heats and cools, the pistons wear into the walls. This is normal as it basically makes the whole engine work as one. Doing this 500 mile service also drains out the engine assembly lube which is used when we build engines. This ensures that the engine is ALWAYS lubricated when you first start your new engine. Starting a DRY engine would cause damage right away. We also have another 2024 gen 3 hayabusa. We have some big plans with this bike and can't wait to show you! We're hoping he allows us to do some additional testing with a different set of cams unlike the brocks cams. Either way, we'll have a video coming up son on that bike! The last thing we touch on is ways to increase airflow for your motorcycle. We have a zx10r in and we're modifying the air box to allow more air to flow through it. This is a mod we have done a ton of times, and it's something you could possibly do yourself, too.
