Back in 1954, Chijmes was home to the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus, a school as well as an orphanage. Today, the grounds of the old school and chapel have been transformed into a little village with al fresco eateries, bars, boutiques and galleries. How does heritage co-exist with commercialisation? This short film is produced by Cheak Wen Sheng, Tai Wei Jie Dave, Ng Jun Hao Joshua, Crystal Loo and Tan Shi Jia from NTU Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.
