Erode's WDM-3A #16480 simply blasts past the mainline platform at Palavanthangal (Pazhavanthangal) with the 12694 Chennai Egmore bound Pear City Express in tow. This train was end-to-end diesel hauled then (Dec 2012). It is hauled by a Erode/Royapuram WAP-4 from Tiruchchirapalli to Chennai now.
